Lomi Lomi is a traditional Hawaiian style of massage rooted in the philosophy of aloha — connection, compassion, and flow. It is known for its long, continuous, rhythmic strokes that move like ocean waves across the body, often using the forearms as well as the hands. Unlike many Western styles that focus on isolated muscles or specific tension points, Lomi Lomi works with the whole body in a flowing, integrated way to encourage balance and deep relaxation. Pressure can range from gentle and nurturing to medium or firm, depending on your needs, but even deeper work feels smooth and rhythmic rather than sharp or forceful. We are proud to be the first in Limerick offering Lomi Lomi, bringing this unique and heart-centered healing art to the community.
